Hi there! 👋🏻 …and Welcome to my (monthly or less) newsletter.
Today I started a new journey to return, again, to create my own digital projects.
Although I have a technical background. I started my career as we now call: maker/builder/solopreneur, because code is one of my passions ever.
I learned to code on my own, with a paper computer magazine. Even before I started studying programming at school. I always loved the Internet and the capacity of coding to create something new.
My first projects were plain webpages. In that I gather my passions, the best memes, resources, news. After that, I also did some directories, ecommerce, or a small blog network.
I made some money, managed dozens of collaborators. And even made an acquisition of a competitor. But all in an amateurish and innocent way. In the afternoons or evenings, while working in a boring job in a large consultancy firm.
Until, tired of not focusing on something serious, after my secure job, I took the leap to be an entrepreneur. Very influenced by the startup boom in Silicon Valley, but working from Spain.
I spent 10 years with my first startup. We created cool products and achieved great things, even a buyout by major media groups. I also tried to help other startups.
And then, I created my last startup as a co-founder, with partners and investors. Turnover and raising some million. But it didn't end well, due to a combination of several circumstances. It was a complicated ending that took me time to recover from.
After all this, I went back to work as an employee for startups. This time, as the Chief Product Officer. Trying to contribute my experience and knowledge with digital products.
But now, it is time to return to my roots to do what I enjoy the most. Build product.
So, from today I will start to share here, and on 𝕏:
